Warped Tour’s Long-Awaited Return in 2025
After a six-year hiatus—since its final cross-country run in 2018—the iconic Vans Warped Tour is making a highly anticipated comeback to mark its 30th anniversary in 2025. The revival features three two-day festival dates in Washington, D.C. (June 14–15), Long Beach, California (July 26–27), and Orlando, Florida (November 15–16).
Each location is expected to showcase an expansive lineup of 70 to 100 bands covering punk, emo, hardcore, as well as newly integrated genres like EDM, hip-hop, and indie rock .
Washington, D.C. — 2025 Edition
The Washington, D.C. festival took place on June 14–15, 2025, at the RFK Festival Grounds and quickly became one of the most talked-about nostalgic music events of the year. The weekend featured nearly 100 acts performing across six stages, delivering a time-warp experience for fans who vividly remembered early‑2000s emo and punk days. Headliners like Machine Gun Kelly and Avril Lavigne electrified the crowd, even as rain threatened to dampen festivities—with fans embracing nostalgia through rain‑soaked renditions of “Sk8er Boi” and punk attire galore.
I attended this year and it was a fantastic event that very well organized (if perhaps a little oversold...ticket-wise.) I bought early bird tix for next a week after this year's event ended.
Washington, D.C. — 2026 Return
The success and buzz around the D.C. event led organizers to bring Warped Tour back to D.C. in 2026.
The line-up is usually not announced until a couple months before the event and the schedule for the day isn't usually announced until the morning of the event (though they did do some early announcements for Long Beach this year). So, don't wait to buy early bird tix thinking you want to see the line up, it's not happening. By the time you know, it'll likely be sold out or tix will be twice what they are now. Just trust you'll hear some stuff you've never heard before and will likely enjoy. If not, there's six other stages to walk over to and listen.
The festival is confirmed for June 13–14, 2026, once more at the RFK Festival Grounds, and will again be an all-ages event with both general admission and VIP passes available—including early presale options that started with $10 down payments. Full early-bird price is $149. Link in the photo below:
