May 21–24, 2026: DelFest

Get ready for four days of world-class acoustic music, community, and Appalachian spirit at DelFest 2026, returning to the scenic Allegany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, MD over Memorial Day Weekend! Founded and hosted by Del McCoury and The Travelin’ McCourys, DelFest has become one of the country’s premier bluegrass & roots music celebrations — blending legendary performances, fresh discovery, and unforgettable collaborations.

What to Expect
This year’s initial lineup promises something special for every roots music fan, featuring iconic artists such as Del McCoury Band, Alison Krauss & Union Station (with Jerry Douglas), Punch Brothers, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sierra Hull, Mountain Grass Unit, plus standout acts like Shadowgrass, The Creekers, Wood Box Heroes, and Colby T. Helms & The Virginia Creepers, with longtime emcee Joe Craven guiding the festivities. More artists will be announced as the festival approaches.

Camping & Festival Experience
DelFest isn’t just about the stages — it’s about connection. Enjoy on-site camping with options for car and RV spots, creekside sites, and family camp areas, all set right alongside the festival grounds. Whether you’re pitching a tent under the stars or joining fellow fans by the Potomac’s banks, the vibe is relaxed, friendly, and authentically Appalachian.

Atmosphere & Community
DelFest combines top-tier performances with spontaneous jams, intimate collaborations, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that keeps fans coming back year after year. There’s music from sunrise to late night, with plenty of chances to learn, share, and connect — from the main stage to late-night pickin’ tents.
